A RISE Microschool is a group of RISE Institute families who meet together on a regular basis to provide enriching activities, programs, clubs, and academic support for their students.

Students can gather together to take part in prayer, participate in online classes, have a designated lunch/snack time, complete their asynchronous work and projects, physical education, hands-on activities, and more!

The MicroSchool is led by the designated Learning Coach or community member who volunteers to be the MicroSchool Coordinator. The Coordinator works with the Learning Coaches to plan events, social gatherings, enriching activities, learning trips, and more.

The RISE MicroSchool can utilize the recommended structure for programs and events or create their own. Hubs can also facilitate students attending their RISE Institute classes.

**RISER Meeting is a time where students are guided by classroom leaders or adults in a conversation focusing on Social, Emotional, and Religious Well-Being

Other programs can include projects, experiments, field trips, and lessons that will be established with the RISE Institute MicroSchool coordinator.

All students who are enrolled in RISE Institute can qualify to participate in the RISE MicroSchools.

The designated MicroSchool Coordinator will be in charge of finances for the MicroSchool. Any materials, supplies, or fees will be paid by the participating families.

Absolutely! All expenses will be tracked by the MicroSchool Coordinator and reported to the RISE Education System. 

The MicroSchool Coordinator will work with the local families to determine what the best schedule is for the RISE Families. RISE recommends that the hubs meet at least on a weekly basis or schedule what is best for the community.

The MicroSchool Coordinator will work with a RISE team member to find a public space or an Islamic Center for the group meetings.
